 Peninsula Lighthouse Tour
To coincide with a visit from SA State Rep Garry Searle, we organised a day's outing in early March this year to include an exclusive tour of the Eastern Lighthouse at McCrae, and the Cape Schanck Lighthouse, both located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
 Balaclava Island Lighthouse
The story of the construction of the Balaclava Island Lighthouse, and the lives of the lightkeepers. Balaclava Island is a low lying mud island at the mouth of the Fitzroy River and Raglan Creek estuaries near Rockhampton.
 Carpentaria Lightship
Bill Scott's story about maintaining and servicing the Carpentaria Lightship in the 1950s. There were two lightships permanently anchored off the Queensland coast, one off the northern tip of Fraser Island, and the other at the western entrance to Torres Strait, in the far north of Queensland.

 Barranjoey Lighthouse restored to former glory
The National Parks and Wildlife Service in NSW, along with the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife and the Vincent Fairfax Foundation, have restored the historic Barranjoey Lightstation. The lighthouse and keeper's cottages have been repaired, sealed and opened to the public, and the surrounds have been landscaped.
 Visit to Tasman Island Lighthouse
Erika Johnson, former caretaker at Swan Island Lighthouse, reports on her recent trip out to Tasman Island Lighthouse, flying out there by helicopter with the
Tasman Peninsular Rotary Club. The lighthouse appears to be well maintained, but the same cannot be said for the keepers' quarters and other out-buildings.

The National Archives of Australia exhibition Beacons by the Sea is nearly finished at Cape Byron Lighthouse, and is moving to the Eden Killer Whale Museum.
